Kelly Uetrecht (Roger Bacon High School) will graduate in May from Thomas More College with a B.A. in Psychology and Educational Studies. As a freshman Kelly identified her goal to become a school psychologist. That goal in one step closer to reality as Kelly has been accepted into the graduate program in Education at Miami University where she has earned a full scholarship and an assistantship that provides valuable experience. Kelly has been an organizer and a leader in the Psychology Club (President), Psi Chi (the national honor society in psychology), the Education Club, the Psychology Bowl Team, and the James Graham Brown Honors Program. Her strong academic performance has landed her on the Dean's list every semester. Because of her academic performance, dedication, service to the college and department, Kelly was selected by the psychology faculty as the Outstanding Psychology Student in 2011-2012. Over the course of her three-year college education Kelly has presented four research projects at undergraduate conferences. Her extracurricular experiences in community service, college organizations, and volunteer positions are too numerous to list, but show a level of commitment unusual for an undergraduate student. Kelly has flourished at Thomas More College, gained research experience, demons trated leadership skills, worked part-time, performed community service, and excels at everything she does.
