The Field Station is located on the banks of the Ohio River (RM 451) in Campbell County, near California, KY.

From Thomas More

• Take I-275 East to Exit 77 (Wilder)
• Turn right onto the AA Highway (Route 546)
• Travel approximately 10 miles to Route 1997
• Turn left onto Route 1997 - Travel only 1/2 mile
• Turn right on to Route 1566 - Travel to the end (~4 miles)
• Turn right onto Route 8 (a steep and sharp Right turn - be careful!)
• Travel on Route 8 for ~1 mile
• The CORRE (Lockhouse Building) will be on your left and the station houses will be on your right

From Cincinnati

• Take I-471 - Daniel Beard Bridge (aka "Big Mac" Bridge)
• Take Exit 2 Fort Thomas/Southgate
• Turn left at traffic light onto Route 27 (Alexandria Pike)
• Turn left at 3rd traffic light onto Route 445 (Grandview Avenue)
• Turn left at stop sign onto Ft. Thomas Avenue
• Turn right at traffic light onto River Road (at old Armory)
• Turn right at bottom of hill onto Route 8 (Mary Ingles Highway)
• Travel 11 miles to the Station (1 mile past the 12 Mile Creek Bridge - the only bridge you'll drive over)
• The CORRE (Lockhouse Building) will be on your left and the station houses will be on your right

From I-275, East of Cincinnati

• Take I-275 to Exit 74
• Take Route 27 S past NKU to Route 1998/Industrial Road (at Veterans Administration Building)
• Turn left onto Route 1998/Industrial Road - Travel to the bottom of the hill
• Turn Right at bottom of hill onto Route 8 (Mary Ingles Highway)
• Travel 10.5 miles to the Station (1 mile past the 12 Mile Creek Bridge - the only bridge you'll drive over)
• The CORRE (Lockhouse Building) will be on your left and the station houses will be on your right

From East

• Take AA Highway exit onto Route 1996 (1996 doglegs right then left)
• Follow 1996 to Route 8
• Turn left on Route 8
• Travel approximately 2 miles
• The CORRE (Lockhouse Building) will be on your right and the station houses will be on your left

High Water Directions - When coming from AA Highway and the Ohio River level is greater than 42.0 feet as reported at Cincinnati - detour off route 1566 - right onto Route 2921, turn left onto Painter Road, then left on Route 8.
