Description: Admissions Ambassadors are responsible for: -leading campus tours -meeting with new/prospective students and parents -answering questions about any and every aspect of Thomas More College (financial aid, admissions process, campus life, etc.) -carrying out day-to-day office work, e.g., data entry, answering phone calls, filing papers -representing Thomas More College and the Office of Admissions in a professional, friendly and welcoming manner. Candidates may be interviewed.


Maintenance, Custodial and/or Research Assistants

Description: Work-study at the Field Station entails a variety of tasks, most of which do not require any background in science. These involve maintenance and custodial tasks that include: cleaning the labs and classrooms in the main building, cleaning the boats/other station vehicles, mowing the grass and general painting and landscaping. Other duties related to the Field Station include maintaining equipment, assisting with programs such as grade school field trips and teacher workshops. No prior experience is necessary and any necessary training will be provided on the job.

Description: Looking for hard worker, wanting to work in an accounting department, with flexible hours. Position involves: General accounting work-preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts,working on excel spreadsheets, assist in preparation of year end work papers for the auditors,etc. Computer entry work with accounts receivable,accounts payable,inputing journal entries, and working on our internal computer programs. Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy items and operate equipment (snow blower, weed eater, etc).
Description: Position requires the ability to clean classrooms, offices and restrooms that includes sweeping, damp mopping, wiping windows, white boards and vacuuming. This candidate must also be able to complete basic grounds maintenance work such as grass cutting, raking leaves weeding gardens, weed eating, snow and trash removal. The operation of basic equipment such as vacuum sweepers, weed eaters, lawn mowers and automatic floor scrubbers may be required (on the job training will be provided).

Description: Tutoring pre-adoloscent and adolscent boys who reside at the Campbell Lodge Boys Home. Boys range in age from 10 to 18 years of age. Tutors will be required to work at least 5 hours per week. The successful candidate should posses a desire to serve.
