In addition to federal, college and private sources, many state governments offer financial aid programs to help meet educational costs. Most of these state aid programs are based on financial need, and are limited to students who attend college in their resident state.
Application for state assistance typically begins with completing a FAFSA Free Application for Federal Student Aid form by the priority deadline listed on the FAFSA for your state of legal residence.
Contact the Office of Financial Aid at Thomas More, check with your high school guidance office or follow the links below to learn more about state financial aid and other ways to assist in defraying your total educational costs. If your state is not listed below, contact your state's education department for the appropriate granting authority.
