Scholarships

$500 to $1,000 - amounts vary and are renewable for four years.

To be considered for this scholarship candidates must be a mathematics major and make satisfactory progress there. Candidates need to submit two letters <ETH> one being a letter of recommendation from your current mathematics teacher and the other a one page letter from you, describing your interest in mathematics, what books you have read in the fields of math and science, and any extracurricular activities that have to do with math or science.

Students who wish to be considered for this award should submit an Application for Admission and Scholarship by March 26. Candidates should submit the required letters directly to the Mathematics Department. Applications will be considered beginning March 26 and awards will be made May 1.
