What is the O-Team? The O-Team is a group of upper class students who volunteer to coordinate orientation and mentor new Thomas More College students.

Will anything cost money during orientation? NO! All food, activities and fun is free for new students during orientation.

Do I have to come to orientation? YES! Orientation is mandatory for all new students. It will provide you with the tools you will need to be successful at Thomas More College. Plus, there will be activities and opportunities to meet new friends and learn about your new community.

Where do I go when I get to Thomas More College? Resident students will check in at the residence hall complex on Sunday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. At 2 p.m. We will have a campus wide mass service in the Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel - please feel free to join us! Commuter and resident students should meet at the Administration building at 3 p.m. for orientation check-in and the cook-out and then meet at the Connor Convocation Center for the Opening Convocation at 4:30 p.m.

When will I be finished? Sessions will conclude Sunday and Monday at about 7 p.m. Orientation will conclude Tuesday, August 19 about 5 p.m.

10am-2pm Book Pickup
11am-2pm Vendors Expo (giveaways and opportunity to purchase items for the family)
12pm Lunch for families in the Student Center
2pm Opening Mass in the Connor Convocation Center
3pm Orientation check-in at the Administration
Building for all students (resident and commuter)
3pm Family Cook-Out in Seiler Commons
4:30pm Opening Convocation in the Connor Convocation Center
5:30pm Orientation Opening Event - let the fun begin!

Monday, August 18

10am Meet with O-Team Leaders in Seiler Commons
10:30am-3:30pm Orientation Sessions all day, in various campus locations
3:30pm-5:00pm Enjoy a break!
5:00pm Dinner in Seiler Commons
6:00pm Monday Fun-Day Event

Tuesday, August 19

8:30am Meet with O-Team Leaders in Seiler Commons
9am-1pm New Student Testing, Meeting with Advisor, Sessions
12pm-5pm All Campus Departments open for students handle any business needed
2:00pm-2:50pm Freshmen Writing Sample - Science Lecture Hall
3:00pm KYOTE Testing - 3107-3122

The new bookstore will have AFFORDABLE health and beauty items, school supplies, apparel, drinks and snacks etc... We will have extended hours to accommodate more students 7:30 am to 7 pm Monday - Thursday and 7:30 am - 4:00pm on Fridays.
